PRAISE FOR KAILIN GOW'S FROST SERIES(tm)!
"The Frost Series gave me chills like Lord of the Rings." - Lisa

"Loved this book and am so excited to see what happens in the next one. I have a feeling that Mrs. Gow will be the next IT author." - A. Drost, Broken Arrow

"This is my first novel by Kailin Gow and I promise it won’t be the last! She has a wonderful way of capturing the reader from the start and easily transports them to an interesting and fascinating world of Feyland where fairies, pixies and werewolves exist – a beautiful place where magic is normal and necessary, and a place where humans normally cannot survive." - Theresa, Just One More Paragraph
"OMG…this series just keeps getting better! I absolutely love this series. I love reading Kailin’s books." – Jamie Johnson, Fantasy Book Chick blog

"I love Kailin Gows books and Frost Kisses is no exception. She is an amazing author who can weave her magic so throughly that you feel as if you are there." - Jessica Bolton, Book Rock Goddess

"I have to give the author credit – Love Triangle – very different. What I mean by that – not typical. The author makes it where it will just shock the sh*t out of you. I can’t really explain it with out giving it away. The only hint I can give is that it doesn’t go down the way traditional love triangles go. I think the author was very bold and for that, she made me a fan." - Sunny

"This needs to be a TV or movie series. I love books and this one effected me so much! The story makes you feel like your in the series. I would watch this any day!" - Christina Rossner

"Starts of with the familiar premise of other fairy fantasy lore but is its own story." - Sarah, Teen Reader

DESCRIPTION
All her life, Breena had always dreamed about fairies as though she lived among them...beautiful fairies living among mortals and living in Feyland. In her dreams, he was always there the breathtakingly handsome but dangerous Winter Prince, Kian, who is her intended. When Breena turns sixteen, she begins seeing fairies and other creatures mortals don t see. Her best friend Logan, suddenly acts very protective. Then she sees Kian, who seems intent on finding her and carrying her off to Feyland. That's fine and all, but for the fact that humans rarely survive a trip to Feyland, a kiss from a fairy generally means death to the human unless that human has fairy blood in them or is very strong, and although Kian seemed to be her intended, he seems to hate her and wants her dead.

Bitter Frost Bitter Frost #1 Frost Series eBook Kailin Gow Reviews

Bitter Frost looks like it has the makings to be something good, and I especially like that the series was complete so that I could binge-read them if this book was worth it. Sadly, I didn’t really feel that connection to this book and probably won’t continue with the series. The idea is good, but I feel like so much of it is borrowed from what is already expected, that there wasn’t anything new and fresh about the story. The characters were confusing and could be very inconsistent, and the Breena was basically only as strong as her destined situation and didn’t have a lot of depth. While it wasn’t a complete waste of time, it could have used some more work and especially some straightening out of character/plot issues. Just okay for me.
Kailin Gow's fantasy tale has made it to the silverscreen (coming 2020) and she deserves all credit for it. Creative, illusive, and magical, her words take you to another realm, a space that we never knew exists. Her main character, Breena, has fantasy dreams of Kian, her Winter Prince, and fairies. Soon enough, Breena's fantasies start realizing themselves and she begins her trip to Feyland.
Kailin's novel begins beautifully, with twists and turns that thicken the plot and complicate Breena's journey. Thrown into the mix is the tough journey for any human to Feyland, and the complicated romance between Breena and Kian - his underlying intentions unclear to Breena if he is the one or if he is just here to kill her.
Bitter Frost (Bitter Frost # 1 Frost Series) by Kailin Gow it is a Fantasy book about Breena who has dream all her life about fairies in a magic world where she lives as she is sleeping, in this world lives the Winter Prince that is supposed to be her husband, but he is dangerous and with only a kiss can kill her. When Breena turns sixteen these dreams start being more real each time until she starts traveling to Feyland where she does not know if the Winter prince is there to marry her or to kill her. This is the first book of a series of ten books. What captivated me, was the way it is written, it is like a poetic prose, it sounds beautiful in my mind and if I read it out loud it does it in my ears, what a wonderful way to write. The book has a quick pace and twists and turns. Characters and places are well described, and you find yourself immersed in a fairyland.
Heir to the Summer Throne, Breena was half-human half-fearie, The most powerful combination of all-in Feyland. Delano, King of the fairies, Logan to half human half werewolf friend, Kian, Prince of Winter Courts and all want to possess and create a new powerful species with Breena. I've read all 243 pages of Caitlin Gow, Bitter Frost. Ive slipped into the magical realms. This fantasy began beautifully, with an eerie twist and complicated the story about Bree.

Banished from her world, she is forced to live in a world with humans. She never understood why she was having so many magical dreams . She was now 16 and her world around her will come crashing down as she begins to unravel the magical dreams and creature like faces she remembered from her dreams that she painted .
Although there were many errors and I had to go back a page or two, to follow the story, the book was enjoyable.

Delano was the Pixie, then the Pixie King, then he threatened Breena roughly then he was gentle..he suddenly appeared to have weapons then .....this, then....that...His character was way to confusing for me.

Regardless of the mix up. I cannot wait for the next series. I want to know, what's it going to be like. I am however particularly fond of the "warewolf" I hope Logan gains some powers or something like that. He seems like the perfect protector for Breena.
